A renewed image, designed for those who love rice in the kitchen and at the table, to bring out the unique characteristics of this Italian gastronomic excellence and emphasize the special link with the territory to which they belong, link certified by the European quality mark identifying the products covered by the PGI (Protected Geographical Indication).
Introducing Po Delta Rice PGI: UNIQUE, NATURAL, SOCIAL
Its uniqueness is given by the area where it is cultivated: the meeting of the fresh waters of the Po River with the salty waters of the Adriatic, the soils rich in organic substances and the climate ventilated by sea breezes, as a whole, they create an environment favourable to the cultivation of rice, guaranteeing its incredible nutritional properties!
PGI Rice is a natural product: it is born within an area immersed in the uncontaminated environment of the Po Delta Natural Park, a protected biosphere with unique environmental and ecological characteristics that embraces environments rich in biodiversity!
Thanks to the Consortium for the Protection of Po Delta Rice PGI, this product of excellent quality is also social because it guarantees quality and safety to the consumer by supporting the agri-food chain. In addition, the consortium members undertake annual projects in solidarity to support, help and be concretely closer to the families of the territory who need it most.
