Improving the competitiveness of PGI rice through diversification with new organic products with nutraceutical features

The project objectives are:

General objective: to stimulate innovation and diversification of Riso del Delta del Po PGI in line with market demands

Specific objectives: to introduce organic rice-growing in the areas of the Po Delta, to develop a line of organic whole-wheat rice that is easy for the consumer, to characterise and promote the qualities of the territory in the organic rice of the Po Delta for its inscription to the PGI (Protected Geographical Indication)
